A 25 year-old foreign domestic helper from Myanmar jumped to her
death from atop The Interlace condominium yesterday evening. She was
found motionless at the bottom of the block and pronounced dead by
paramedics on the scene.
According to reports, a man and a woman had tried to persuade the
maid to go back down to safety. They asked her about her home country
and even tried to offer her water to drink. The domestic worker
responded to the woman, but did not reach for the drink.
She eventually decides to let go and jump off the ledge she was perched on.
The police are investigating the case as unnatural death.
