BMC Education Services is excited to announce that BMC Academy, our new learning management system, is live.  BMC Academy will provide you a better, easier way to access our learning services. View announcement.
With BMC Academy, you can:
  • Navigate and interact with content more easily
  • Launch web-based training (WBT) and instructor-led online (ILO) sessions within BMC Academy
  • View all your transactions and/or purchases
  • Review your learning pass credit (LPC)/training unit (TU) activity and balance

Logging into BMC Academy

Not a BMC Partner or Customer Support user?
Whether you have an existing account or not with BMC Education Services, all users wishing to register for or access BMC Education Services training are required to create a new BMC account.  This will allow you access to training in BMC Academy.
  1. As part of this process, there will be a short registration form to complete
  2. One the registration form, begin at the sub-heading User Information.  If you had a previous BMC Education Services learning profile, please use the same email address when creating your new profile.
  3. Once the form is submitted, you will receive an email notification from "customer_care" to activate your account.
  4. In the email, click on the URL.  this will activate your account.  A pop-up message will notify you that you will receive a second email.
  5. In the second email, click on the log in URL to BMC Academy.
  6. You will be presented with the log in screen.
  7. Log in using your email address and password which you used in the initial registration form.
  8. Select a security image and click on the Create an Account button.
  9. To create an account, you will need to complete your personal and company information.
  10. Click submit.
  11. A pop-up message will appear, please click ok.
  12. A new window will appear for Terms and Conditions, click I Agree to accept the terms and begin your learning experience with BMC Academy.
This is a one-time process.  Going forward you will be able to sign directly into BMC Academy.
Existing BMC Partner or Customer Support user?
If you are an existing BMC Partner or Customer Support user, please use your existing credentials (iLearn for Partners and Customer Support for customer support users) to log in to BMC Academy.  Upon logging in to BMC Academy, you will be directed to a page to update your personal and company information before you can access your account.  This is a one-time process.  Going forward you will be able to sign directly into BMC Academy.

BMC Certified Professional: BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management 3.x (Employees and Partners Only)

The BMC Certified Professional for BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management 3.x (Employees and Partners Only) certification program will validate the technical competencies and implementation methods needed to successfully deploy and configure BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management for defined-use cases.
Participants receive the title of BMC Certified Professional, which distinguishes them from others in their field. Also, gain deep-dive knowledge of BMC products, assist your organization with complex demands, provide confidence that your skills are current and exceptional and participants will join a peer group of experts valued within the industry. Also, you will receive a BMC Certified Professional Certificate and logo.
Steps to Becoming a BMC Certified Professional
  • Complete the BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management Learning Path
  • Pass the BMC Certified Professional: BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management 3.x Online Assessment
  • Pass the BMC Certified Professional: BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management 3.x Practical Exam
Examination Details
  • Exam duration is 5 days
  • Exam will be offered in a BMC Education Services training facility
  • Classroom environment with individual servers
  • Proctored by BMC Education Services
  • Participants must bring a laptop
  • Certifications are valid for 2 year*
  • Participants who fail the Certification exam may register and pay for the next available offering of the exam
*Certified Professionals are required to maintain their certification by completing certification knowledge updates (CKU) during their 2 year certification period.
