For love or money: Women in Business



How are women working in this tough economy? Are they working for love or money? That is... love of the job or the essential need to make money?
We all work to have the resources to pay our bills, but as the cost of nearly everything rises -- from milk to maternity care -- more people are working or working harder because they have to. That includes women as single people, as single moms or in collaboration with spouses.
Others are, by design or happenstance, working in jobs that they love.
Some of the jobs women love are jobs that pay a lot. Some pay peanuts. And that quite often contrasts with the male experience in the working world. Far more often than not, men seem to define themselves by what they do and how much they make.
