NCS Communications Engineering Pte. Ltd. (NCS Comms Engg) was formed in October 2002, following a merger between NCS and SingTel Aeradio. The merger resulted in the synergistic extension of NCS’ suite of IT services to include communications engineering services such as consultancy, facilities management, airport systems, telecommunications engineering, multimedia and smart-home solutions. Key customers of the company span many industries from education to banking and finance, healthcare to manufacturing and telecommunications, and transportation to the public sector.
NCS Comms Engg’s experience in offering airport infrastructure and communications solutions dated back to 1950s when SingTel Aeradio provided aeronautical facilities management and consultancy services to the first Singapore civil airport at Kallang. With SingTel Aeradio’s merger with the Data Networking and Video Conferencing arm of the former Telecom Equipment in 1999, the combined entity has built a reputation as a leading data networking and telecommunications integrator.
